The first assignment at Tatsu Works was to redesign and re-animate the auras component of their NFT passes. It was a huge collection of items and the work was divided between three animators, me included. Below are some that I had re-made from concept to animation:
The ideas generated for the maid series auras redesign. Below are the final animated versions.
AA Gun Auras. This was quite fun to pixel, giving some differences to the designs. For the animation, I animated the tanks motion using photoshop and then made use of Aftereffects to layer the smoke using particles. Lighting was also added to the tank at this stage to create the impact of the firing sequence. Final animations are as seen below.
The roses re-design took a while, but when it's confirmed, the variations were easy to produce, since it was a simple color change.
